Washington, November 20, 2025 – The Europe Today: US President Donald Trump declared on Wednesday that he and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman “have made the US–Saudi alliance stronger than it has ever been,” as both leaders participated in the US–Saudi Investment Forum in the American capital.
The high-level forum underscored the deepening strategic partnership between Washington and Riyadh, with both sides preparing to finalize $270 billion worth of major investment agreements spanning the defense, energy and artificial intelligence sectors.
President Trump praised the Crown Prince as “a bold leader” dedicated to strengthening bilateral ties, noting that the United States is ready to provide Saudi Arabia with advanced military systems as part of the expanding defense partnership.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman affirmed that Saudi Arabia and the United States “have laid the foundations to strengthen their historic partnership,” emphasizing that the rapidly evolving relationship offers significant opportunities for both nations.
He confirmed that Saudi Arabia will soon sign new agreements with the United States covering defense industries, energy cooperation and AI technologies, calling on both sides to seize the full economic potential of their strategic relationship.
“We must seize the opportunities offered by the Saudi–U.S. partnership,” he said.
The US–Saudi Investment Forum served as a major platform for advancing investment commitments and reaffirming the long-standing political, security and economic ties that continue to anchor the alliance between the two countries.
