Islamabad, November 25, 2025 – The Europe Today: On 25th November 2025, the management of Habib Rafiq Engineering (Pvt) Ltd. visited the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Islamabad and met with Mr. Wang Shengjie, Head of the Political & Press Section (CPEC Focal Person), along with his team. The HRL management included Mr. Muhammad Zahid Nadeem, CEO of Habib Rafiq Engineering (Pvt) Ltd, Mr. Imran Zahid, CEO of Capital Smart Motors, Mr. Zeeshan Qureshi, Chief Operating Officer of Capital Smart Innovations, and Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Group Adviser of Habib Rafiq Engineering (Pvt) Ltd.
The discussion focused on strengthening cooperation under the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and exploring potential avenues for collaboration in infrastructure development, industrial expansion, and emerging technology sectors.
During the meeting, the HRL management emphasized the company’s long-standing contributions to Pakistan’s engineering, construction, and industrial sectors. They highlighted HRL’s commitment to promoting high-quality development, innovation-driven initiatives, and partnerships that align with national priorities, including sustainable energy, smart mobility, and modern industrial zones.
Mr. Wang Shengjie commended the achievements of Habib Rafiq Engineering (Pvt) Ltd. and appreciated the company’s ongoing efforts to support Pakistan’s socio-economic transformation. He reaffirmed the Embassy’s support for facilitating meaningful cooperation between Chinese institutions and leading Pakistani enterprises such as HRL.
The meeting concluded with a shared resolve to further deepen institutional linkages, expand industrial collaboration, and work toward new initiatives under CPEC that will contribute to regional connectivity and economic resilience.
