Astana, December 10, 2025 – The Europe Today: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Russian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Aleksey Borodavkin on Tuesday, Akorda reported, underscoring the continued strengthening of the multifaceted partnership between Kazakhstan and Russia.
During the meeting, President Tokayev noted that bilateral cooperation is advancing successfully across all areas thanks to the joint efforts of both sides. He emphasised that political dialogue between Kazakhstan and Russia has recently gained “new and unprecedented momentum,” reflecting the depth and strategic nature of the relationship.
The Head of State also highlighted the productive outcomes of his recent state visit to Russia, during which he held comprehensive talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Tokayev said the visit had provided a strong impetus to further developing the comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance between the two countries.
According to Akorda, both sides reaffirmed their readiness to continue strengthening cooperation in priority areas and deepening their longstanding partnership, built on mutual respect, trust and shared interests.
