Enhancing Bilateral Collaboration: Turkmenistan and Russia explore trade and economic cooperation in Moscow

Moscow, December 23, 2023, The Europe Today: During the 9th meeting of the High-Level Group for the Support of Trade and Investment within the framework of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Russian Commission on Economic Cooperation, Turkmenistan and Russia engaged in substantive discussions concerning the prospects for trade and economic cooperation, as well as potential collaborative projects.

The deliberations, which aimed to foster and enhance bilateral ties, were instrumental in exploring avenues for mutual economic development.

The Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation provided insights into the productive exchange, highlighting the shared commitment of both nations to strengthen their economic partnership and identify strategic initiatives that could contribute to the growth and prosperity of their respective economies.

Among the key agenda items were the enhancement of mutual trade, collaboration in energy and industrial sectors, and the development of initiatives for personnel training.

Deputy Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, Kerim Kurbanov, led the Turkmen delegation, bringing a wealth of expertise to the negotiations.

On the Russian side, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Volvach, spearheaded the group, reflecting the commitment of both nations to fostering collaboration across diverse domains for the advancement of their economic interests and shared prosperity.
