Islamabad, January 03, 2024, The Europe Today: Rector of Salymbekov University, Kyrgyzstan Dr. Zhumadilov Esengeldi Zhumadilovich paid a significant visit to Foundation University Islamabad today where he was welcome by the Prorector/Director Prof Dr Abdul Ghafoor steered by Dr Hina Shahid, Head Department of Arts and Media supported by the International Desk FUI. The visit marks the initiation of discussions on potential collaborative ventures between the esteemed universities, aiming to create new avenues for academic exchange and mutual growth.
During his comprehensive visit of FUSST, Dr Zhumadilov Esengeldi who is also the Executive Director of the Askar Salymbekov Foundation, one of the leading organizations in Kyrgyzstan, engaged with the faculty and students. He appreciated the faculty and the students of Department of Arts and Media as he gained valuable insights into the academic infrastructure of the university. This interaction not only showcased the vibrant academic atmosphere at Foundation University Islamabad but also laid the foundation for potential collaborative projects in the fields of Arts and Media.
The tour continued with visits to the Arts Studio, Media House, and Radio FM 101.8 where Dr Hina Shahid requested the guest to record his message for FUI students on FM 101.8. Rector, Dr Esengeldi took the opportunity to commend the students for their outstanding work and expressed appreciation for the collective efforts of the entire department. In a note of thanks, Rector appreciated the efforts of Dr Hina Shahid, HoD Arts and Media Department for facilitating his visit to Foundation University Islamabad that signifies a commitment to academic excellence and cross-cultural cooperation. Officials from both the institutes expressed the enthusiasm to look forward to furthering this international collaboration.
