Tashkent, September 04, 2024, The Europe Today: Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are set to collaborate on the joint launch of artificial satellites aimed at data analysis, according to a report by News Hub Consultants.
The plans were discussed during a meeting in Astana between Uzbekistan’s Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, and Kazakhstan’s Minister of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry, Zhaslan Madiyev. The discussions centered on strengthening cooperation in digital technologies, with a focus on digital skills training, regional digital inclusion, and transformation.
One of the key topics was the potential for launching a mutual grouping of artificial satellites by the end of the year. These satellites are intended to study and analyze data, with both countries set to prepare relevant proposals to advance this initiative.
The ministers also explored opportunities to enhance regional cooperation in accelerating digital innovation, further solidifying the partnership between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in the field of digital technology and space exploration.
