Turkmen and Kazakh Leaders Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Relations and Expanding Cooperation in Astana Meeting

Astana, September 09, 2024, The Europe Today: Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, held a significant meeting with Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, during his official visit to Astana.

According to the Turkmen state news agency TDH, the discussions between Berdimuhamedov and Tokayev focused on the current state of interstate cooperation, emphasizing the principles of trust, equality, and mutual respect for national interests. The leaders engaged in a confidential and constructive dialogue, reviewing the progress of previously agreed-upon initiatives and exploring new avenues for partnership.
