Minsk, October 3, 2024 – The Europe Today: Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed Decree No. 387, approving a draft air services agreement between Belarus and Saudi Arabia as a basis for official negotiations, according to a report from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The agreement outlines regulations governing flight operations, including passenger boarding and deplaning procedures, as well as the acceptance and unloading of baggage, cargo, and mail during international transport. This framework aims to ensure the safety of air travel while fostering mutually beneficial cooperation between Belarus and Saudi Arabia in the realm of air transportation.
The Belarusian Ministry of Transport and Communications has been given the authority to negotiate and finalize the agreement with Saudi counterparts. The agreement is expected to enhance bilateral relations and promote the development of air transport between the two nations.
