The Vietnamese delegation was warmly received at the airport by Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski, Secretary of State at the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with other ministry officials, Vietnamese Ambassador to Poland Hà Hoàng Hải, embassy staff, and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Poland.

Strengthening a Historic Relationship

This visit, the first by a Vietnamese Prime Minister to Poland in 15 years, takes place as Việt Nam and Poland celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations. It reflects the strong traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation between the two nations.

During his visit, PM Chính will engage in talks with Polish President Andrzej Duda, Prime Minister Donald Tusk, Speaker of the Sejm Szymon Hołownia, and Marshal of the Senate Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska. These discussions are expected to pave the way for enhanced collaboration across a range of sectors.

A Multifaceted Agenda

Prime Minister Chính will deliver a policy speech at the University of Warsaw and visit the National Research Institute (NASK) under the Ministry of Digital Affairs. He will also attend the Vietnam-Poland Business Forum and meet with leaders of Poland’s key economic groups.

In addition, he will meet the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy and representatives of the Vietnamese community, participate in a New Year program, and visit the ASG Trade Centre, a hub for Vietnamese businesses in Poland.

Expanding Cooperation

The visit is anticipated to create a breakthrough in bilateral relations, focusing on measures to strengthen cooperation in politics, defence, trade, education, culture, tourism, agriculture, health care, technology, and labour. Both countries aim to deepen ties between their citizens and localities while exploring opportunities to enhance judicial and environmental collaboration.

This landmark visit underscores the commitment of Vietnam and Poland to fostering long-term, comprehensive relations for mutual benefit.
