Davos, January 22, 2025 – The Europe Today: President Ilham Aliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan met with Olaf Scholz, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, at the latter’s request in Davos, Switzerland, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum.
During the meeting, Chancellor Scholz inquired about the progress of investigations into the recent plane crash, underscoring Germany’s concern for the situation. Both leaders also took the opportunity to reflect on their previous engagements, expressing mutual satisfaction with the positive outcomes of their past discussions.
In their talks, President Aliyev and Chancellor Scholz focused on the development of Azerbaijan-Germany bilateral relations, highlighting key areas of collaboration.
