Hanoi, January 29, 2025 – The Europe Today: As the nation transitions from the Year of the Dragon to the Year of the Snake, State President Lương Cường, on behalf of the Party and State leadership, extended his heartfelt New Year greetings to the people of Vietnam and the Vietnamese community abroad.
In his New Year message, President Lương Cường highlighted the significance of the occasion and expressed his best wishes for peace, happiness, and prosperity to all Vietnamese citizens and international friends.

The President praised the efforts of all sectors of society—from workers, farmers, entrepreneurs, and intellectuals to soldiers stationed in remote areas—in contributing to the nation’s progress.
President Lương Cường also underscored the importance of the year 2025 as a pivotal period for Vietnam, marking a phase of acceleration and breakthrough. He reaffirmed the Party and State’s commitment to steering the country toward continued development, prosperity, and global integration. He called upon the entire Party, people, and armed forces to maintain unity, uphold national pride, and seize opportunities to overcome challenges.
“Nothing can halt our nation’s desire for progress and a brighter future,” he stated, reaffirming Vietnam’s vision of building a strong, democratic, and prosperous country where all citizens enjoy freedom and happiness while actively contributing to global peace and stability.
