Azerbaijan, Serbia Strengthen Strategic Partnership at Munich Security Conference

Baku, February 15, 2025 – The Europe Today: Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov met with Serbia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference to discuss the advancement of bilateral ties and regional security matters.

During the meeting, the ministers exchanged views on the Azerbaijan-Serbia strategic partnership, underscoring the significance of high-level mutual visits and the role of friendly relations between the leaders of both nations in fostering stronger cooperation.

Discussions also focused on expanding collaboration in key sectors, including economic development, energy, high technology, transport, culture, humanitarian initiatives, education, and tourism. Both sides expressed mutual interest in further strengthening these ties.

Regarding regional and international organizations, the ministers reaffirmed their commitment to supporting each other’s territorial integrity, highlighting the importance of continued diplomatic coordination.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to deepen bilateral engagement and explore new avenues for cooperation in various fields of mutual interest.
