Baku, February 16, 2025 – The Europe Today: Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a productive meeting with Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on February 15, during the Munich Security Conference.
The ministers engaged in in-depth discussions regarding various aspects of Azerbaijan-Türkiye allied relations, including political, security, economic, and transport-communication matters. They underscored the significance of continuing cooperation and mutual support in regional and international organizations, notably the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), the United Nations (UN), and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
Additionally, the meeting focused on key regional and international developments, with particular emphasis on the evolving situation in the Middle East. Minister Bayramov provided a comprehensive update on the ongoing conflicts in Gaza and Syria, along with insights into the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace process.
Both ministers exchanged views on other pertinent issues, reinforcing their countries’ commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and contributing to global peace and security.
