Lahore, May 3, 2025 – The Europe Today: Ambassador Alex Berg von Linde visited Lahore this week, immersing herself in the city’s dynamic business, political, and cultural scene.
A key part of her visit included attending a productive meeting with the Steering Group of the Swedish Business Council in Pakistan (SBCP), hosted by Tetra Pak. Discussions centered around shared opportunities, current challenges, and strengthening Sweden-Pakistan business ties.
Ambassador Alex also met with representatives from leading Swedish companies including Volvo, Ecolean, ABB Power & Automation, Dynamic Equipment & Controls, and Synavos Solutions. The conversations focused on innovation, sustainability, and future growth for Swedish enterprises in Pakistan.
One of the highlights was getting behind the wheel of a Volvo FM 400 and witnessing a Volvo Truck Tree Transplanter in action — a testament to Swedish engineering and environmental commitment.
Wrapping up her trip, the ambassador explored Lahore’s historic Old City, strolling through Greater Iqbal Park, visiting the iconic Minar-e-Pakistan, and admiring the intricate artistry of Masjid Wazir Khan.
