Ashgabat, September 13, 2025 — The Europe Today: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has signed a resolution approving the organization of a major investment forum, scheduled to be held on September 18–19, 2025, in the Avaza National Tourist Zone, state media reported on Friday.

According to the resolution, the Ministry of Finance and Economy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have been tasked with ensuring the high-level organization of the event. The forum is expected to serve as a key platform for presenting new economic initiatives and investment projects across a wide range of sectors, including energy, transport, digital technologies, and agriculture.

The primary objectives of the forum are to attract both foreign and domestic investment, enhance the efficiency of Turkmenistan’s investment policy, expand the country’s export potential, and strengthen international economic cooperation.

The initiative is being implemented within the framework of Turkmenistan’s national development strategy, “Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State”, which seeks to ensure sustainable socio-economic growth and promote the country’s integration into the global economic system.

The Avaza National Tourist Zone, located on the Caspian Sea coast, will host the Turkmenistan Investment Forum 2025 (TIF 2025), providing an international venue for dialogue focused on economic development, investment attraction, and building strategic partnerships.
