Ashgabat, September 22, 2025 — The Europe Today: World leaders have sent heartfelt congratulations to the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on the occasion of his birthday, Turkmenistan’s official media reported on Monday.
Among the heads of state conveying their greetings were President Vladimir Putin of Russia; President Xi Jinping of China; President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Türkiye; President Lee Jae-myung of South Korea; President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan; President Sadyr Japarov of Kyrgyzstan; President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan; President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus; and President Vahagn Khachaturyan of Armenia.
In their messages, these leaders acknowledged President Berdimuhamedov’s personal contributions to strengthening bilateral cooperation, expressed confidence in further enhancing partnership ties, and wished him good health and continued success.
Congratulatory messages were also received from high-ranking officials, including Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, Chairwoman of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko, Astrakhan Governor Igor Babushkin, Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission Bakytzhan Sagintayev, and Faisal bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Thani, a member of the Qatari royal family.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was born on September 22, 1981, in Ashgabat.
