Ashgabat, November 13, 2025 – The Europe Today: Turkmenistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov held a telephone conversation with Marek Eštok, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, on November 12, 2025, to discuss the current state and future prospects of bilateral cooperation.
During the discussion, both sides reviewed a wide range of areas for partnership and reaffirmed their mutual commitment to strengthening Turkmen-Slovak relations through constructive dialogue and collaboration.
The ministers underscored their readiness to continue close cooperation within regional and international organizations, particularly under the framework of the United Nations.
Special attention was given to preparations for the upcoming International Forum on Peace and Trust, scheduled to take place in Ashgabat in December. Both parties expressed confidence that the event will further promote global dialogue and reinforce Turkmenistan’s role as a center for peace and international cooperation.
