Marrakech, December 13, 2025 – The Europe Today: Following last week’s World Cup Draw, the ticket lottery for the 2026 FIFA World Cup officially opened on Thursday, enabling fans to register for the chance to purchase tickets for Morocco’s matches.
Fans wishing to attend games must first create an account on FIFA’s official ticketing platform and provide personal information. They must then select the desired match tickets before entering the lottery phase, which is accessible only with a VISA debit or credit card. Successful applicants will have their cards automatically charged before receiving their tickets.
Moroccan supporters hoping to cheer for the Atlas Lions in their group-stage matches against Brazil, Scotland, and Haiti will note that ticket prices vary by match due to FIFA’s new dynamic pricing policy, which adjusts costs based on demand, location, and remaining inventory.
Group-Stage Matches:
- Brazil vs. Morocco – June 13, New York/New Jersey Stadium:
Morocco will kick off their tournament against Brazil at the 85,000-seat MetLife Stadium, temporarily renamed New York/New Jersey Stadium due to sponsorship rules. Ticket prices range from $265 (Supporter Value, Category 3) to $700 (Supporter Premier, Category 1). - Scotland vs. Morocco – June 19, Boston Stadium:
The Atlas Lions will face Scotland at Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots and New England Revolution, with tickets priced between $220 and $600. - Morocco vs. Haiti – June 24, Atlanta Stadium:
Morocco’s final group-stage match against Haiti will take place at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, with ticket prices starting at $180 for Category 3 and reaching $500 for Category 1.
Knockout Stage Tickets:
Fans can also apply for knockout-stage tickets, contingent upon Morocco qualifying from Group C. Prices increase progressively with each stage, as follows:
- Round of 32: $235–$610
- Round of 16: $295–$770
- Quarter-finals: $680–$1,440
- Semi-finals: $920–$3,170
- Bronze-final: $455–$1,125
- Final: $4,185–$8,680
FIFA’s pricing strategy for the 2026 World Cup has faced criticism from several fan associations, including Football Supporters Europe (FSE), which called on FIFA to review ticket pricing, highlighting a significant discrepancy between the previously quoted $21 ticket price in the 2018 bid book and the current costs.
