Islamabad, July 8, 2026 – The Europe Today: The Pakistan Navy and the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) have successfully located and recovered the wreckage of a K2 Airways cargo Boeing 737 following a 12-hour search and rescue operation in the deep sea.
According to a statement issued by the Pakistan Airports Authority, the wreckage of the missing aircraft was found approximately 53 nautical miles south of the Ormara coast after an extensive coordinated search operation.
The operation was carried out jointly by the Pakistan Navy and PMSA, demonstrating close coordination between the country’s maritime and aviation authorities in responding to the incident.
The Pakistan Airports Authority shared the update through its official account on X, confirming the successful recovery of the aircraft’s wreckage. Authorities have not yet released further details regarding the cause of the incident or the status of the crew, while investigations into the crash are expected to continue.
