Jordan, Azerbaijan Pledge to Expand Cooperation in Mutual Investment

Baku, July 9, 2026 – The Europe Today: Jordan and Azerbaijan have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral economic ties, with a particular focus on enhancing cooperation in mutual investment.

Speaking at a joint press conference with Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Al Safadi said the two countries are committed to expanding investment cooperation.

“Azerbaijan and Jordan will also cooperate in the field of mutual investment,” Al Safadi stated, emphasizing the shared determination of both governments to deepen their economic partnership.

“We intend to strengthen our relations in this field as well,” he added, highlighting the importance of investment as a key pillar of the growing bilateral relationship.

The remarks came during high-level talks between the two foreign ministers in Baku, reflecting the continued momentum in Azerbaijan-Jordan relations and their shared commitment to broadening cooperation across economic, trade, and investment sectors.

Both sides have reaffirmed their intention to promote closer collaboration aimed at encouraging investment flows, strengthening commercial partnerships, and creating new opportunities for sustainable economic growth in both countries.
