Islamabad, August 17, 2026 — The Europe Today: Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Yusuf Sharifzoda held a meeting with Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil to the Republic of Tajikistan, resident in Islamabad, Olyntho Vieira, on Monday.
The meeting focused on the current state of Tajikistan-Brazil bilateral relations and prospects for their further development across areas of mutual interest.
The sides paid particular attention to strengthening political, economic, trade and cultural cooperation, while also discussing opportunities to expand engagement in other fields of mutual interest.
The diplomats exchanged views on the organization of bilateral meetings and events at various levels, as well as ways to enhance cooperation between relevant institutions of the two countries.
The sides reaffirmed their readiness to maintain regular dialogue and take further steps to broaden mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Brazil.
