Islamabad, July 09, 2025 – The Europe Today: Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch on Tuesday hosted the Heads of Missions of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reaffirming Pakistan’s resolve to further deepen its engagement with the regional bloc under its “Look-East” Policy.
During the meeting, the Foreign Secretary emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to ensuring the effective implementation of its Look-East Policy and to enhancing both bilateral and multilateral cooperation with ASEAN member states.
She highlighted the concrete steps being undertaken by Pakistan to augment political, economic, and cultural relations with ASEAN. These efforts, she noted, reflect Pakistan’s long-standing desire to contribute to regional peace, stability, and prosperity through closer ties with Southeast Asian nations.
The ASEAN Heads of Missions expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s proactive approach and reiterated their commitment to work collaboratively to further strengthen the Pakistan-ASEAN partnership across diverse areas of mutual interest.
