Diplomatic Meeting in Islamabad Focuses on Tajikistan-Kenya Partnership

Islamabad, June 24, 2026 – The Europe Today: Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Pakistan, Yusuf Sharifzoda, held a meeting with the High Commissioner of the Republic of Kenya to Pakistan, Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Peter Mbogo Njiru, to discuss ways to further strengthen bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Kenya.

During the meeting, the two diplomats reviewed the current state of relations between their countries and exchanged views on future prospects for cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

The discussions focused on expanding political, economic, trade, and cultural ties, while also exploring opportunities to enhance collaboration between relevant institutions of Tajikistan and Kenya.

Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships and promoting closer engagement to advance shared objectives and mutual interests.

The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of their commitment to maintaining constructive dialogue and further deepening mutually beneficial cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Kenya.
