France Beat Morocco 2-0 to Reach FIFA World Cup 2026 Semi-finals

Boston, July 10, 2026 – The Europe Today: France booked their place in the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup 2026 after securing a convincing 2-0 victory over Morocco in the quarter-final at Boston Stadium on Thursday.

After a tightly contested first half, France broke the deadlock in the 60th minute when captain Kylian Mbappé found the back of the net to give his side the lead.

The French doubled their advantage six minutes later as Ousmane Dembélé scored in the 66th minute, effectively sealing victory and ending Morocco’s impressive World Cup campaign.

With the win, France advanced to the semi-finals, where they will face the winner of the remaining quarter-final between Belgium and Spain on July 14.

The victory keeps France on course for another FIFA World Cup title, while Morocco exits the tournament after an impressive run to the last eight.
