Vienna, January 11, 2024, The Europe Today: During his visit to Austria, Bahraini General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Interior Minister, engaged with Ambassadors of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries in Vienna at the headquarters of the Permanent GCC Mission. Dr. Ali Abdullah Al Jowder, the Head of the Mission, welcomed him.
The Interior Minister emphasized the need for reinforcing Gulf security efforts in response to regional changes and challenges. He also visited the Spanish Riding School, where he was received by Alfred Hudler, the school’s Chief Executive Officer. General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa gained insights into the school’s procedures, highlighting the significance of training for achieving competence and professionalism.
Commending the Bahraini Knights for their efficiency and honorable performance in local and international tournaments, the Interior Minister acknowledged the readiness of the Mounted Police for their assigned tasks. The visit included a review of training cooperation and expertise exchange between the Spanish Riding School and the Mounted Police.
