Islamabad, January 25, 2024, The Europe Today: The Embassy of Romania in Islamabad organized, in cooperation with the National Language Promotion Department Pakistan, the conference “Mihai Eminescu and Allama Iqbal – Cultural Bridges between Romania and Pakistan”.
Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, PRCCSF was a keynote speaker at the conference.
During the speeches presented to the audience, the cultural relations between Romania and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan were evoked, Eminescu’s work and its significance for Romanian culture were presented, as well as the links and similarities between the two national poets of Romania (Mihai Eminescu) and Pakistan (Allama Muhammad Iqbal).
