Hong Kong, July 18, 2024, The Europe Today: Three books featuring the works and remarks of Chinese President Xi Jinping, printed in traditional Chinese characters, made their debut at the opening of the Hong Kong Book Fair on Wednesday.
The publications include the first and second volumes of “Selected Readings from the Works of Xi Jinping” and “Xi Jinping: Chinese Modernization.” These books were published and distributed by Sino United Publishing (Holdings) Ltd. and are now available in bookstores across the special administrative regions (SAR) of Hong Kong and Macao.
The launch ceremony was attended by John Lee, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong SAR, along with representatives from social organizations and the publishing sector in Hong Kong.
The newly released books aim to provide readers in Hong Kong and Macao with a systematic understanding of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, as well as the theories and practices of Chinese modernization. The books are expected to play a crucial role in guiding Hong Kong and Macao residents to deepen their sense of identity with the country, the Chinese nation, and Chinese culture. This initiative is seen as a step towards fostering unity and collaboration for the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
