Minsk, March 2, 2025 – The Europe Today: The Belarusian automobile engineering giant BELAZ is set to deliver a batch of advanced quarry dump trucks to one of Russia’s leading iron ore companies, the press service of the Belarusian enterprise reported.
BELAZ confirmed that 11 state-of-the-art BELAZ-7513T quarry dump trucks, each boasting a load capacity of up to 136 tons, will soon be integrated into the transport fleet of Olkon (Olenegorsk Mining and Processing Plant) in the Murmansk Region. Of these, five vehicles have already been dispatched, while the remaining six are scheduled for delivery in March-April.
The newly delivered equipment has arrived in Russia by rail and is currently undergoing assembly at the Olenegorsk Mining and Processing Plant’s technological transport section and the Komsomolsk quarry site. Following the installation process, the BELAZ trucks will be subjected to rigorous testing under operational loads, including system adjustments, before being officially commissioned into service. These trucks will further expand the significant BELAZ fleet already operating at Olkon.

These modernized dump trucks are equipped with enhanced traction and dynamic capabilities, making them a top-tier choice for transporting rock mass from quarries to mining and processing facilities.
The trucks feature an advanced traction generator, modern AC-AC electric motors, and a proprietary electromechanical transmission control cabinet developed by BELAZ. Designed to withstand extreme weather conditions, the Belarusian giants incorporate a specialized northern configuration to ensure reliability and efficiency even in the harshest temperatures.
This latest batch underscores BELAZ’s continued commitment to supplying high-performance, durable, and safety-compliant mining equipment to key players in the global mining industry.
