Moscow, March 6, 2025 – The Europe Today: Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed Alexander Darchiev as the new Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the United States, according to a presidential decree published on the official legal information portal.
The decree states: “[I hereby decree] to appoint Alexander Nikitich Darchiev as the Russian Federation’s ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the United States of America and the permanent observer of the Russian Federation at the Organization of American States in Washington.”
