Baku, March 22, 2025 – The Europe Today: Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia, has sent a heartfelt congratulatory message to Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on the occasion of the Novruz Holiday, a celebration symbolizing new life, unity, and prosperity.
In his letter, Prime Minister Kobakhidze expressed his warm wishes for peace, tranquility, and prosperity for Azerbaijan and its people, emphasizing the importance of the holiday in strengthening the friendship and strategic partnership between the two nations.

He further underscored the strong and cordial relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan, highlighting the deep-rooted friendship and mutual respect shared by the peoples of both countries. Kobakhidze acknowledged the productive and multifaceted cooperation between the two nations, which is based on common regional interests and serves as a model of effective collaboration.
“I highly appreciate the level of the relations between Georgia and the Republic of Azerbaijan. These relations are a manifestation of the traditional sincere and friendly neighborhood ties between our peoples. Our effective and multilateral cooperation in various fields, conditioned by common regional interests, serves as an exemplary model and provides a solid foundation for the well-being and development of our peoples,” he stated.
The Georgian Prime Minister expressed confidence that the cooperation between the two countries would continue to grow and flourish, particularly in light of ongoing global challenges. He reaffirmed the importance of their partnership in maintaining peace and stability in the region.
