Mexico City, May 18, 2026 – The Europe Today: At least 10 people, including a child, were killed in an armed attack in the municipality of Tehuitzingo in Mexico’s Puebla state on Sunday, authorities confirmed.
According to the state’s public security ministry, the victims included six men, three women and one minor.
Security officials said state and federal forces have launched a joint investigation and operational deployment to identify and apprehend those responsible for the attack, according to local media reports.
The public security ministry reiterated its commitment to ensuring “zero impunity” in the case and said intelligence-gathering operations are ongoing to determine the motive behind the assault.
Authorities have not yet released details regarding the identities of the victims or possible suspects as investigations continue.
