Islamabad, May 27, 2026 – The Europe Today: President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have extended heartfelt Eid-ul-Adha greetings to the nation and the Muslim Ummah.
In his message, President Zardari said that Eid-ul-Adha conveys the values of obedience to Allah, patience, loyalty, sincerity and sacrifice.
He urged the nation to promote love, tolerance and dialogue instead of hatred and division, adding that the darkness of despair could be overcome through service, knowledge, hard work and unity.
The president emphasized the importance of national harmony and collective efforts for the country’s progress and stability.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the spirit of sacrifice nurtures humanity, selflessness and a sense of responsibility within society.
He paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the fight against terrorism, describing them as a source of national pride.
The prime minister also urged the public to especially remember the poor, deserving and underprivileged segments of society during Eid celebrations.
On the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also expressed complete solidarity with the people of Palestine and Kashmir, reaffirming Pakistan’s continued support for their rights and struggles.
