Rawalpindi, June 5, 2026 – The Europe Today: Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Panjgur District of Balochistan on reported presence of terrorists linked to an Indian proxy network, “Fitna al-Hindustan,” resulting in the killing of six militants, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
During the operation, security forces effectively engaged multiple terrorist hideouts. Following an intense exchange of fire, six terrorists were neutralized.
Weapons, ammunition, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and a vehicle were also recovered from the possession of the killed militants, who were reportedly involved in multiple terrorist activities in the region.
The ISPR stated that sanitization operations are underway to clear the area of any remaining terrorists and ensure complete elimination of threats.
It further added that the ongoing, relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam,” as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, will continue at full pace. Security forces and law enforcement agencies remain committed to eradicating foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
