Islamabad, June 21, 2026 – The Europe Today: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Zurich on Sunday along with a high-level delegation, the PM Office Media Wing said in a press release.
According to the statement, the Prime Minister, along with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, will participate in the high-level talks on the implementation of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding being held in Burgenstock, Switzerland on June 21.
Upon arrival in Zurich, the Prime Minister was received by Ambassador Marcus Leitner, Director General of the Swiss Foreign Office.
The visit is aimed at advancing discussions on key aspects of the implementation framework under the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, the press release added.
