Ashgabat, July 22, 2026 – The Europe Today: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has extended warm congratulations to Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili on the occasion of his 55th birthday, reaffirming Turkmenistan’s commitment to further strengthening the longstanding friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
According to Turkmen state media, President Berdimuhamedov said in his congratulatory message that the friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Georgia, founded on mutual respect, trust, and equal partnership, continue to develop steadily across a broad range of sectors.
The Turkmen leader also recalled his recent state visit to Georgia and their meeting in Tbilisi, expressing sincere appreciation to President Kavelashvili for the warm welcome and generous hospitality extended during the visit.
President Berdimuhamedov commended President Kavelashvili’s personal contribution to advancing Turkmen-Georgian relations and voiced confidence that bilateral cooperation would continue to expand through joint efforts, serving the shared interests and prosperity of both nations.
