Baku, September 15, 2026 – The Europe Today: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has underscored the importance of unity among the Turkic world, the Caucasus and the Islamic world, describing solidarity as a key factor in strengthening states and protecting their interests.
Speaking at a meeting in Baku with participants of international conferences, President Aliyev said that unity strengthens each individual and nation, noting that standing alone can create difficulties.
He emphasized that collective solidarity among the Turkic world, the Caucasus and the Islamic world provides greater strength and resilience.
“When the Turkic world, the Caucasus and the Islamic world stand together, no one can overcome us. No one can commit injustice against us,” the Azerbaijani President said.
President Aliyev stressed that Azerbaijan attaches particular importance to this principle in the formulation and implementation of its state policy.
He reaffirmed that strengthening cooperation and solidarity among these regions remains an important element of Azerbaijan’s broader approach to regional and international relations.
