Tbilisi, June 8, 2025 – The Europe Today: Uzbekistan’s farmers and food producers secured export contracts worth $3 million at the “Made in Uzbekistan” international exhibition, held in Tbilisi, Georgia, from June 5 to 7, according to Yangi Uzbekistan.
The event was formally inaugurated by officials from Georgian government agencies alongside Bakhrom Ashrafkhanov, Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan and Georgia.
The exhibition showcases a wide array of products from top Uzbek companies, including Agro Star, known for its fresh and dried fruits, and Sabe, a popular producer of traditional Uzbek ice cream. Attendees were treated to tastings of Uzbek cuisine, sweets, and spices, which drew enthusiastic participation and positive feedback from visitors.
Organized by Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the event aims to strengthen economic and trade ties in the South Caucasus region.
The successful contracts and ongoing negotiations with major Georgian retail chains signal strong potential for expanded market access and deeper commercial cooperation between Uzbekistan and countries in the region.
