Astana, October 5, 2025 – The Europe Today: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan held a telephone conversation with President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan, during which both leaders noted the steady development of Kazakh-Tajik relations, highlighting positive progress across all areas of cooperation.
The heads of state discussed future steps to expand collaboration in trade, economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres, underscoring their shared commitment to deepening strategic partnership and allied ties between the two countries.
During the conversation, President Tokayev extended his congratulations to President Rahmon on his birthday, wishing him continued success in his responsibilities for the benefit of the fraternal Tajik people. He also emphasized his appreciation for President Rahmon’s personal role in strengthening bilateral relations.
