Kazakhstan Appoints Ambassadors to Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro and Tunisia

Astana, October 13, 2025 – The Europe Today: The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has issued a decree appointing new ambassadors to several countries, reinforcing Kazakhstan’s diplomatic presence in Europe and North Africa.

Altai Abibullayev has been appointed as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Slovenia.

Daulet Batrashev, currently serving as Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Croatia, has been concurrently appointed as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.

Anuarbek Akhmetov, who serves as Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, has been designated as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Tunisia.

These appointments reflect Kazakhstan’s continued commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and expanding diplomatic cooperation with partner countries.
