Riyadh, November 21, 2025 – The Europe Today: Kazakhstani athlete Irina Konishcheva secured a bronze medal in the heptathlon event at the Islamic Solidarity Games held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, reports Olympic.kz.
Konishcheva finished third with a total of 5,270 points across the seven events of the heptathlon.
The gold medal was claimed by Iran’s Fatemeh Mohitizadeh, who scored 5,562 points, while Uzbekistan’s Ugiloy Norboyeva took the silver with 5,488 points.
Kazakhstan’s achievement highlights the nation’s growing presence in regional multi-sport competitions and the strong performance of its athletes on the international stage.
