Baku, June 8, 2026 – The Europe Today: Azerbaijan’s acrobatic gymnastics team delivered a standout performance on home soil today, securing the gold medal in the women’s group category at the FIG World Cup held in Baku.

The Azerbaijani trio, comprising Anahita Bashiri, Nazrin Zeyniyeva, and Zahra Rashidova, impressed judges with a flawless routine that earned them the highest score and placed them at the top of the podium.

In addition to their gold medal victory, the athletes were also awarded the prestigious AGF Trophy, recognizing their exceptional overall performance and contribution to the competition.
