Among the newly commissioned projects was a modern cold storage facility owned by Leader LLC, with a storage capacity of 3,000 tonnes of food products. The facility has been established to preserve agricultural produce and ensure the year-round supply of fresh food to domestic markets. It has also created 25 permanent jobs.

President Rahmon also officially launched a new glove manufacturing factory in the city of Khujand. Equipped with advanced production technologies, the factory is focused on manufacturing domestically produced, import-substituting goods, contributing to the country’s industrial diversification and self-sufficiency.

In another key development, the President inaugurated the new Registration and Examination Department building of the State Automobile Inspectorate under the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sughd Region. The modern facility has been designed to enhance public service delivery while providing improved working conditions for staff.

The fourth project launched was the new district prosecutor’s office building in Kuhistoni Mastchoh District. Constructed in accordance with modern engineering standards, the two-storey building is expected to strengthen the efficiency of law enforcement institutions and improve the quality of legal services provided to residents.

The four newly inaugurated facilities have collectively generated 100 permanent jobs, supporting employment opportunities and regional socio-economic development.

Addressing the occasion, President Rahmon emphasized that the construction of modern industrial and public service infrastructure plays a vital role in accelerating industrial development, expanding production capacity, creating sustainable employment, and improving the quality of life for citizens.

He noted that the projects carry particular significance as Tajikistan prepares to celebrate the 35th anniversary of its State Independence, highlighting the government’s continued focus on sustainable economic growth, industrialization, and public welfare.
