Dushanbe, October 5, 2026 – The Europe Today: President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, inaugurated a newly constructed regional facility of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kulob on October 4.
The facility, located in the centre of Kulob, serves the Ministry’s regional unit responsible for the group of districts in the Kulob area. It provides modern working conditions for personnel from 20 departments and groups covering 10 districts of the region.
The multi-storey building was constructed with the involvement of local workers and the use of quality construction materials. It was built with the support of the Government of Tajikistan by the Construction Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and features a modern design meeting contemporary architectural requirements.
The facility includes offices equipped with modern equipment, accommodation and other necessary facilities for specialists and employees.
It also has a spacious 354-seat conference hall, dining facility, guesthouse, gymnasium, parking area and other supporting facilities.
The new complex was inaugurated as part of preparations for the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan’s state independence and represents an important addition to the working infrastructure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
During his visit, President Emomali Rahmon met with officials and employees of the sector and called on them to perform their duties with dedication and serve the country faithfully.
The President stressed that amid globalisation, every law enforcement officer must remain vigilant and alert, continuously improve professional knowledge and skills, protect the rights and freedoms of citizens, and faithfully contribute to maintaining public order and security.
He also underscored the importance of responsible and committed service to the state and people in ensuring stability and strengthening the rule of law.
