Tickets for Morocco–Niger World Cup Qualifier Sell Out in Record Time

Morocco

Rabat, August 26, 2025 – The Europe Today: Tickets for Morocco’s upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Niger went on sale at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday and were met with unprecedented demand, selling out in less than three hours.

At the start of sales, more than 6,000 fans were already in the online queue. By 9:00 a.m., most ticket categories had been exhausted, with only Categories 1, 2 and 3 remaining. Demand surged rapidly, with over 30,000 people waiting by that time. By 10:30 a.m., the queue had nearly doubled to 60,000, but all categories were listed as unavailable, effectively confirming a full sell-out.

Ticket prices began at MAD 100 (approximately $10) for Category 3 seats and rose to MAD 20,000 (about $2,000) for private Skybox boxes. Hospitality lounges, VIP and VVIP stands were also offered, with every ticket guaranteeing a numbered seat.

Distribution will vary depending on the category purchased. Fans who secured tickets in Categories 1, 2, and 3 will receive them digitally via the Webook app, while those who purchased premium categories—including Skyboxes and hospitality packages—will be required to collect their tickets physically at Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) distribution points, with exact locations to be announced.

The overwhelming response highlights Moroccan fans’ strong enthusiasm for supporting the national team as it continues its campaign toward qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
