Uzbekistan and Malaysia Discuss Enhanced Cooperation

Kuala Lumpur, April 05, 2024, The Europe Today: In a bid to elevate bilateral relations to new heights, Ambassador Karomiddin Gadoyev of Uzbekistan convened a meeting with Ahmad Rozian Abd Ghani, Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, as reported by Uzbek media sources.

The dialogue centered on exploring avenues to enhance cooperation between Uzbekistan and Malaysia. Both parties exchanged perspectives on intensifying high-level political dialogue, bolstering inter-parliamentary collaboration, diversifying trade, economic, and investment ties, and broadening cultural and humanitarian exchanges.

Of particular note was the discussion surrounding the activation of agreements made during the visit of Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs to Kuala Lumpur in February of this year.
