Budapest, May 26, 2024, The Europe Today: Ambassador of Uzbekistan Oybek Shakhavdinov met with Miklos Santo, Director General of the “Center for Fundamental Rights” research institute in Hungary, as reported by “Dunyo” AA correspondent.
During the meeting, both parties exchanged views on pressing international and regional issues. Miklos Santo commended the socio-economic and socio-political reforms undertaken by Uzbekistan, noting the stable and positive development trajectory of the country.
“We are interested in establishing cooperation with scientific and analytical institutes of Uzbekistan,” stated Santo, emphasizing the potential for collaborative efforts between the two nations.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to engage in joint activities, including the preparation and publication of analytical articles focusing on Uzbekistan’s foreign and domestic policies. This cooperation aims to enhance mutual understanding and strengthen the ties between the research communities of Uzbekistan and Hungary.
