Astana, August 03, 2024, The Europe Today: Saida Mirziyoyeva, an aide to the President of Uzbekistan, has announced that the Zakovat intellectual show will be held for the first time in Astana on August 5, 2024. The event will take place at the prestigious Presidential Culture Center, as reported by NHC.
The Zakovat intellectual movement, which has gained significant popularity in Central Asia, will conduct its inaugural games in the Kazakh capital. This marks a significant milestone for the movement, which has a rich history of promoting intellectual engagement and competition.
Notably, Team Kazakhstan emerged victorious in the first-ever 2022 Central Asian Cup of the Zakovat intellectual games, which were held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. This victory highlighted the growing enthusiasm and competitive spirit surrounding the games in the region.
Launched in 2021, the Zakovat intellectual game is Uzbekistan’s national version of the renowned Russian intellectual game shows “What? Where? When?” and “Brain Ring.” With a history spanning over 20 years, Zakovat includes leagues for schools and students, attracting both professionals and amateurs alike.
In early 2021, the Uzbek Mass Media Fund decided to support the Zakovat project, further boosting its development and reach.
The upcoming event in Astana is expected to draw significant attention and participation, reflecting the enduring appeal and importance of intellectual pursuits in Central Asia.
