Dushanbe, September 06, 2024, The Europe Today: Khusrav Noziri, the representative of Tajikistan, has been appointed as the Assistant Director General of the Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS), headquartered in Astana, Kazakhstan. The announcement was made by the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan, following a decision by the IOFS Executive Board.
Noziri was chosen from among representatives of 14 member countries of the organization, reflecting his expertise and Tajikistan’s growing role in international food security efforts. The IOFS plays a critical role in addressing food security challenges in Islamic nations, and Noziri’s appointment signals a strengthened contribution from Tajikistan in this crucial area.
