Beijing, October 06, 2024 – The Europe Today: Annita Demetriou, President of the House of Representatives of Cyprus, will lead a parliamentary delegation to China from October 8 to 13, at the invitation of Zhao Leji, Chairman of the National People’s Congress (NPC) Standing Committee.
The visit aims to enhance diplomatic relations and strengthen cooperation between Cyprus and China, with a focus on parliamentary exchanges and shared economic and cultural interests. Demetriou and her delegation are expected to engage in high-level meetings with Chinese officials to discuss key areas of bilateral collaboration and explore opportunities for deepening ties.
This visit is seen as a significant step in further fostering mutual understanding and cooperation between the two countries.
