11th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States to be Held in Bishkek on November 6, 2024

Bishkek, November 2, 2024 — The Europe Today: The 11th Summit of the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) is set to take place on November 6 in Bishkek, the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic, according to the News Hub Consultants.

The event will be hosted by Sadyr Zhaparov, President of the Kyrgyz Republic, and will bring together the leaders of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan. Representatives from OTS Observer countries and the Secretary General of the OTS will also attend.

Held under the motto “Empowering the Turkic World: Economic Integration, Sustainable Development, Digital Future, and Security for All,” the summit will serve as a significant forum for high-level discussions on issues essential to the Turkic world. The leaders will deliberate on various strategic projects in the fields of economy, trade, digital transformation, transport, and security. Official agreements are expected to be signed, advancing the OTS’s agenda on these topics.

The summit will also address regional and global developments, with a focus on strengthening multilateral cooperation among OTS Member States and Observers. Heads of State will discuss shared challenges and explore opportunities for deepening collaboration within the Turkic World.

As the summit concludes, the Chairmanship-in-Office of the OTS will officially transition from Kazakhstan to the Kyrgyz Republic. In the closing ceremony, Heads of State will endorse the Bishkek Declaration along with several significant resolutions.

Ahead of the summit, the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OTS will convene in Bishkek to finalize agenda items and the documents to be signed by the Heads of State.
